4-Hour Seminar

Our 4-hour training seminar is a great course to introduce you to Emotional First Aid and the value of being present for someone experiencing trauma and loss. This course provides a detailed and instructor role-modeled lesson on the five Emotional First Aid skills, along with realistic scenarios that demonstrate the skills in action. If you are interested in Trauma Intervention Program but unable to fulfill the role of a TIP volunteer, or if you are in the helping profession and want to add to your tool belt, this may be the right course for you.

8-Hour Interactive Seminar

Our 8-hour training seminar is an interactive course, with opportunity for practicing the learned skills in a controlled environment with instructor feedback. This class builds off of each skill and dives further into your ability to provide compassion and support to another’s experience of trauma and loss. This course also provides training in different presentations of grief in adults and children, personal care and safety, and compassionate death notifications. This Course is beneficial for First Responders, Medical Personnel, School Counselors and Administrators, and any individual looking to develop their skills in grief interaction and support.
